  The agents for the Child Protective services are the absolute worst in the field. They actually forced a child out of a loving home and gave her to a drug addict father who hasn't seen her in 6 years and now she sleeps on a cold floor instead of a warm bed. This situation is far too involved and long to get into the whole story, but it is fair to say this dept. cares more for the poor parents than the welfare of the children they are supposed to protect. I cant even give them a single star nut since I am forced to by this site I guess I must.

  These five stars represent two of the most amazing people I've ever met at Social Services. One is for Debbie Price. She took care of my EBT needs in short order. And we also had a couple of laughs. One morning she called and I was having trouble focusing and answering questions. Then she asked, "Ms. Mayberry, have you had your coffee yet?" I HADN'T!!! She was awesome. The other person is Ms. Stewart. I wasn't getting anywhere with the caseworker assigned. They have a 48 hour "rule." I would call the caseworker who seemed like she was never there, and leave a voicemail. Then, I'd wait. If she called within two days and I was, I don't know, in the bathroom, she'd leave a message. That counted. So, I'd have to call back and start the entire process over again. Ridiculous. Enter Ms. Stewart. I actually sought her out from paperwork earlier this year. I called and she picked up. She said she had a family emergency and that she'd have to call back the next day. I figured I wouldn't hear from her, but she kept her promise! I told her my story and just like that, she's looking at my case. She asked a couple of questions and troubleshooted the problem. The next day? Benefits. Both Ms. Price and Ms. Stewart should be trainers.

  I would give a few NEGATIVE stars.. Nothing about this place is USEFUL, and like I have seen another already say: Staff acts as though the assistance is coming out of THEIR OWN PAYCHECKS!! This place needs to be INVESTIGATED!!! *STOP KIDNAPPING OUR CHILDREN, & VIOLATING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!! #KIDS4CASH #OPEXPOSECPS
